She volunteered in STRA where she coached Tball, softball, cheerleading, basketball. Janine was a trustee on the STAR Foundation, where she helped to raise thousands of dollars to support and finance teacher grants at Southampton for innovative ideas in the classroom. On top of raising four young children, Janine also was a volunteer teacher of Catechism at both Holy Eucharist and Sacred Heart Catholic Churches, for 19 years.
In 2015, Janine returned to the classroom as a high school history teacher at Holy Cross Preparatory Academy. She teaches Advance Placement, Honors and College Prep US History along with Sociology. She is passionate about her love of God, family and country.
Janine believes that the community of Southampton is part of her family. She wants all students of Southampton to have the same wonderful educational experience that her children had. She believes that it is entirely possible to revitalize Southampton Schools by putting the focus back on education and creating a positive and welcoming environment for students, parents and teachers. She supports truth, common sense, parental rights, transparency and accountability to produce outstanding students and citizens. Janine believes that the future of this amazing community depends on the way we nurture the young minds of our children. She is and always will be an advocate for children and families of Southampton.
