Mrs. Megan Geibel

Ms. Megan Geibel has been selected as the new Superintendent for the Southampton Township School District!
 
Ms. Geibel’s career in education spans 23 years within Burlington County. She most recently served as the principal of the Peter Muschal School within the Bordentown Regional School District. Additionally, she previously served in the same administrative role at the MacFarland Intermediate School, also within the Bordentown Regional School District, where she worked for the past eleven years. Prior to that, Ms. Geibel spent thirteen years in the Pemberton Township School District, as a Special Education Teacher for seven years at the elementary and middle school levels and an Assistant Principal at the Marcus Newcomb Middle School for six years. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Rowan University and her master’s degree from University of Phoenix, along with her Principal and Superintendent’s Certification.
 
A resident of North Hanover Township, she and her husband David have three children. “My first experience as an educator was my student teaching assignment to the Southampton Township School District in 1999. I was greeted warmly by the administration, staff and community, and the impression has remained with me throughout my career,” she said, “It was here that I first recognized the importance of those groups working in concert to support the success of the students in our schools. “Those are goals I have worked hard to promote in my previous positions,” Ms. Geibel added, “and that I am extremely proud to experience once again as Superintendent of Southampton Township Schools.”
