Mrs. Maureen Walsh
Mrs. Maureen Walsh became the Supervisor of Special Services for the Southampton Township School District in February 2022. Mrs. Walsh has had a rich career in education including positions as a General Education Teacher, a Special Education Teacher and as the Learning Consultant on the Child Study Team, prior to joining the administrative team in our school district.
Mrs. Walsh has an undergraduate degree from St. Joseph’s University, located in Philadelphia, P.A.. She then went on to earn a Master's Degree from Seton Hall University, South Orange, N.J. and Teacher of Students with Disabilities, Learning Disability Teacher Consultant and Educational Supervisor Graduate Certifications from Rowan University, Glassboro, N.J.. One of the greatest points of Mrs. Walsh’s career was the high honor of receiving The Gloucester County Teacher of the Year Award for the 2016-2017 school year.
When Mrs. Walsh is not working, she enjoys spending her time gardening, cooking, and time at the beach with her family. Mrs. Walsh lives in Haddon Township with her husband Richard, two daughters, Shannon and Molly and her dogs, Quinn and Daisy. Mrs. Walsh is thrilled to join such a dynamic professional community and she is excited for the opportunity to work with the children and families of Southampton!
